Next Meeting: July 14th @ 12pm

IN-PERSON MEETING

Would your pitch to a perspective donor be different if they were a baby boomer verses a gen X?  In the past, we discussed cultivating relationships with donors to create a long lasting partnership to sustain and grow your nonprofit.  This month we would like to take it a bit further in understanding various generations.  Patty Robinson, Faculty Director, Civic & Community Engagement Initiatives along with Jessica Edmond, Adjunct Instructor, English as a Second Language, Co-Lead, PLACE (Partnerships for Listening and Action by Communities and Educators) Project Co-Chair, Integrative Learning, Civic, and Community Engagement Work Group at College of the Canyons will be presenting on differing interest of the various generations, why they volunteer, how they commit to their passions/ideals, and why they give. They will share information specific to gen Z, a new generation of donors.  We are certain you will find this discussion enlightening and meaningful.

Please join us on Thursday, July 14th at the University Center at College of the Canyons from noon to 1pm.  This is a brown bag event as lunch will not be provided. Please feel free to bring your own lunch.  Parking passes will not be needed.  You are welcome to bring business cards and brochures to share with the group.

We look forward to seeing you at the meeting!
